About Me
With over 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries, I have spent the last 15+ years running MDS Design, a business that focuses on delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions. My background in Civil Engineering has equipped me with the technical expertise to tackle a broad range of projects, from traditional construction design to more specialized, blue/green infrastructure initiatives.
As an expert in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), I have been involved in the design and implementation of complex systems such as wetlands, river restorations, and fish/eel passes. My work in SuDS also ties into broader environmental goals, improving flood resilience and enhancing biodiversity.
Additionally, I provide specialized services in spatial planning, fire and security as-built drawings, and oil and gas pipeline drawings. These areas require precise attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements—all of which I bring to every project.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my contributions to the industry, winning two SuSdrains Awards for Retrofit SuDS in 2022 and 2024, as well as a Street Design Award in 2020. These accolades reflect my dedication to excellence, my ability to innovate, and my focus on delivering practical, sustainable solutions.
